2021 Interdisciplinary Student Workshop on Literature
2021-12-19
Event Summary
On Sunday, December 19, 2021 (9:00-17:30), the "2021 Interdisciplinary Student Workshop on Literature" took place at the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University (NTU). It was organized by the NTU Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, with the Taiwanese Association of Hispanists as co-organizer.
The department's "Spanish Language and Literature Area of Specialization" began in September 2021, with Spanish divided into language, culture and literature groups. This workshop was held by the literature group. It invited students taking literature courses and brought them together with Spanish majors and non-major Spanish learners from across Taiwan, so that teachers and students could learn from one another through interdisciplinary exchange.
Teachers and students from seven universities took part, and native-speaker Spanish teachers from several universities served as moderators. The presenters came from six schools: National Taiwan University, National Tsing Hua University, National Taiwan Normal University, National Chengchi University, Fu Jen Catholic University and Tamkang University, including master's and bachelor's students, international and local students, and majors and non-majors. Students were encouraged to present in Spanish, with literature as the main thread, or on topics in their own area of expertise.
